Asia Pacific Youth Robotics Competition (APYRC)


Experience Ace's Director, Stanley Chew and Robotics Instructor, Matthew Tan has been the Lead Judges for this year Asia Pacific Youth Robotics Competition (APYRC) 2017 in the categories of Sumo and Team Fortress.


Asia Pacific Youth Robotics Competition (APYRC) is robotics competition for science, technology, and engineering and mathematics (STEM) that brings young people together to develop problem solving skills and creativity. APYRC is held in Singapore. It is a well-rounded event for students to design and build a robot to compete in the various robotics events. With more than 6 years of its presence, APYRC will constantly bring a whole new experience with more challenges, fun and excitement than ever before!


The objectives of Asia Pacific Youth Robotics Competition (APYRC)

- To increase awareness of robotics competition among the general public

- To provide students from all level (Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced) opportunities to experience robotics challenges.

- To encourage creativity and innovation among young people

- To increase students’ interest in Science, Technology and Engineering, mathematics (STEM)

- To promote school spirit and sense of community
